Executive Director

Ecology North is looking for an independent, passionate, dynamic individual to take a lead management role in Ecology North as the Executive Director. The successful candidate will possess a range of management skills, as well as a passion for environmental issues.

The overall responsibility of the position will be management and leadership in implementing policy in a manner that is consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.

Waste Reduction Program Manager

Ecology North is looking for a dynamic, independent and enthusiastic professional to work as the Waste Reduction Program Manager.

The successful candidate will have comprehensive program management skills, experience in public education or communication, and a technical understanding of the field of waste reduction, with a focus on compost or soil science. We will train the right candidate.

Attached are two postings for job openings with Ducks Unlimited Canada through our Boreal Forest Program (http://www.ducks.ca/who-we-are/careers/). I would greatly appreciate your assistance in their distribution.

 

The first is for NWT Head of Conservation Programs based in Yellowknife. This is for my replacement now that I have moved to Edmonton. The second is for a Seabird Biologist that will focus on primarily arctic based projects. This position is currently a 3 year term with Edmonton as the preferred location but location may be negotiable.   

 

Both provide exciting personal and professional opportunities.  I’m happy to provide more information to anyone interested in applying.
