Happy Polar Week!

Hello ehPECS'ers!

USAPECS has curated a list of online movies for the Polar Film Fest! We're having a watch party in Whitehorse, this Wednesday, September 21st, 7-9pm at the Beringia Centre. If you're in Whitehorse, come celebrate Polar Week with us! If you're not, consider hosting an in-person or virtual watch party this week wherever you are :)

There are a number of other awesome events happening around the world for Polar Week, such as the UK Polar Network's reddit AMA on Thursday September 22nd from 7-9pm GMT. It is Transition time for the  APECS - Canada Board and Leadership Team.

We are looking for new Board Members for the coming year.
The current Board's term ends on 30 September 2016. 

What is the process for application?
Review the attached Charter that describes the roles of Board Members and the Leadership Team. Review the annual report that I sent out a few weeks ago.
Tell us yow can you can contribute and benefit from being an APECS-Canada Board Member? Also consider if you are interested in one of the Leadership position and/or a particular project.

Email your letter of interest, cv/resume and a photo to me (vsahanatien@gmail.com).
Deadline for applications: 18 September 2016.
