Can someone forward this to all the Canadian Members 

Hi all,

Leona Aglukkak, MP for Nunavut will be the next chair of the Arctic Council. 

She was in Iqaluit on Saturday at an invitee only consultation session to collect ideas on what Canada should emphasize when we take on the chair for the Arctic Council.

The invitees were business, Inuit organizations, tourism and NU govt officials.

 

It is vital to get the environment and climate change on her agenda. And this will be an up hill battle.

 

As many people as possible need to send in ideas and priorities. 

 

Deadline:  09 November 2012.

 

I would also cc Leona Aglukkak regular parliamentary email 

 

And pass this information on to any one you know that cares about the arctic
