Hello APECS Canada Members!
Currently APECS Canada is putting together some resources that will
help better equip researchers for their work in communities across
Canada's North. To do this we are assembling a list of informative
resources that we will assemble and list on the APECS Canada webpage.
We want to know about resources that you might have used or know about
that helped when you started working in the North. How did you learn
more about the community you were headed? How did you learn about
consultations and permitting? Or if you are thinking about northern
research, where have you been getting your information?
We are particularly interested in:
-blogs by northern researchers/community members
-organization websites
-book recommendations
-photos (that you are willing to have posted on a map on the website)
If you are willing to share your resources, please send links and info
to meagangrabowski@gmail.com and the Northern Resources working group
will be posting a list to the website in the coming months.
