Hi Everyone,
--
This is a great project for anyone interested in helping with outreach. We have a French translator lined up, but any other languages, including some northern languages would be amazing!
Please contact Gerlis if you are interested.

Hi National Committees,
I'm forwarding the email below from Julie Berkman from Our Spaces who we work with for our Antarctica Days. If any of you would like to help translate the book to any of the languages listed below or to a language that is not covered yet, please let me know and I can get you in touch with Julie.
Cheers,
Gerlis

Allen Pope has done a wonderful job creating the booklet 'Celebrating Antarctica - A Treaty Protecting a Continent' based on the story about the Antarctic Treaty written by 4th graders, including Antarctic flag designs by the students from 30 countries."Celebrating Antarctica" is now available online in 5 languages via celebratingantarctica.tumblr.com We are seeking help to get it translated into French and Russian (Antarctic Treaty languages). We welcome translations Bulgarain, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, Malaysian (countries where students have contributed) as well as reaching out with Arabic and Korean. The attached word file has a table with the text in English and Spanish with a space for NEW Translations. If you could circulate this request we will work with the translators and reviewers to get it published.It really is amazing to be able to spread this book to so many people.Thanks so much for your help!JuliePS My husband Paul Berkman says to thank you for all your kind collaboration!Dr. Julie A Hambrook BerkmanManaging DirectorFoundation for the Good Governance of International Spaces (Our Spaces)20 Chishill Road, Heydon, Nr RoystonHerts, SG8 8PW, UKm 44 (0)7800 589 163f Antarctica Day (December 1) facebook groups Skype name: ourspacesCharity registration no.1131454<º/,}}}}}}}=<{ <º/,}}}}}}}=<{
