Hello Canadian APECS members,
Recently APECS and AMAP (the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Program, a working group of the Arctic Council) have been working together to provide early career researchers opportunities to get more invovled in the AMAP process.
On January 30 to February 1, 2012 the AMAP Climate Expert Group in meeting in Victoria BC and have invited APECS to send a member to participate. If you live in the area or will be in Victoria during this time, and are interested in representing APECS in the meeting please contact Jennifer Provencher ( jennifpro@gmail.com ), not the entire list. This includes participation in the meeting, and writing a short report/article for the APECS website after the meeting.
Due to the short notice of this meeting please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested. Please also note that there are no travel funds available so only those that can be in Victoria of their own accord should apply.
