Fulbright Arctic Initiative US$40,000 : Deadline February 2, 2015

The Fulbright Arctic Initiative aims to stimulate international scientific collaboration on Arctic issues, while also integrating models of traditional knowledge.  It is designed to bring together a network of scholars, professionals and applied researchers from the United States, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia and Sweden to engage in collaborative research and to undertake an academic exchange. The Fulbright Arctic Initiative will provide a platform for scholars from across the Arctic region to engage in creative thinking, analysis, problem-solving and multi-disciplinary research in the following four areas: energy, water, health, and infrastructure.

We encourage scholars at all career stages, applied researchers, or professionals active in the academic, public or private sectors that demonstrate outstanding qualifications and a record of experience and accomplishment in an area clearly related to one of the designated research themes to apply.
