Here's how can you participate:

1) Check out APECS international's Polar Week Programming

2) Participate in our tweet storm on September 24th. Use the hash tag: #tweetyourthesis and tell us about your work!

3) Send out an email to your lab or departments, introducing yourself and why you love polar research. You could also attach any recent publications or news articles that you find interesting (especially if they are yours- a self promotion opportunity!). Also let them know its polar week and forward them the following announcement from APECS inviting them to explore our Polar Week programs.

4) If you know of any French-immersion or franco-jeunesse schools please share this link with them and invite them to participate in APECS-France's / APECS-Canada's Polar Week programming en francais for elementary school children:

Visit our Polar Week website for some suggestions, events and information for Polar Week. We encourage all of our members and National Committees to participate!

Are you planning an event? Please send us an email with a short description of your event or activity to info@apecs.is so that we can list it on our Polar Week website! After the event, please send us a short article and some pictures about how it went, so we can include it with all the other reports about Polar Week activities on our website and let our members worldwide know about the amazing activities you are doing.
